From the card to a folder you trust

Lodge checks each copy, brings over only what is new, and puts each file type in its own folder.

Lodge remembers what it already copied and brings over only new files.

Short clips and presets

Skip short clips. Switch presets from the menu at the top right.

Drop a folder

Drag a folder onto Lodge to choose where your footage goes.

Proxy files and sidecar files travel with their clip automatically.

Three steps

  1. Insert the card

    A mounted card shows up in Lodge.

  2. Name the files

    Preview the names before you copy.

  3. Offload the card

    Copy and check every file.

Default is neutral black

Lodge opens in Dark mode, with no colour wash.

  • Aurora, Ocean, Twilight, Ember, and Forest are optional colour themes.
  • Light, Dark, or System. Dark is how Lodge starts.
  • Increase Contrast and Reduce Transparency turn every theme solid.

Lodge is a universal app for Apple silicon and Intel Macs. It requires macOS 14 or later. Download Lodge from Ko-fi, unzip it, then open the DMG, and drag Lodge to Applications.

Pay what you want.

No account, no analytics, and copying never uploads anything. The only time Lodge goes online is a daily check for updates, which you can turn off in Settings > General.

macOS 15 Sequoia and later

  1. Open Lodge.
  2. Click Done on the warning.
  3. Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security.
  4. Click Open Anyway next to Lodge, and confirm.

macOS 14 Sonoma

  1. Right-click or Control-click Lodge.
  2. Choose Open.
  3. Choose Open again.

Lodge is not notarized, which is why macOS asks.
